Assistant Pastor Wallace

Rev. Rita Wallace is the wife of Deacon Andre Wallace. Together, they have one son, Brother Andre (AJ) Wallace. Rev. Wallace was licensed to preach the Gospel in May 2016 under the leadership of a former pastor of Mount Hope Missionary Baptist Church, Nanjemoy, MD, Reverend Francis J. Ford. She was a Youth Minister and Sunday School Teacher of the teens at Mount Hope.

She also serves as President of the Sunday School Union of the State of Maryland and Vicinity.  She truly loves the Lord. It was evident at Mount Hope that her passion is serving the Youth Ministry. Rev. Wallace, under the teaching of the late Dr. Ben Jones, holds a Certificate in Religious Studies from the Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology of Virginia Union University. She also attended Calvary Christian College in Waldorf, Maryland.

Currently, she serves as Assistant Pastor and Youth Pastor here at New Life Missionary Baptist Church after joining us in 2022.  Her favorite scripture is Romans 12:1, “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.”
